As a leading producer of precision optics and coatings for over the past 50 years, Rocky Mountain Instrument Company (RMI) has recently added new processes to allow for mass production of transmissive and reflective CO2 Laser Optics. We are pleased to announce that we can offer RMI High Quality CO2 optics at a Low Cost with Quick Delivery.

RMI manufactures a full range of CO2 laser optics including focusing lenses, high power mirrors and phase retarders, and have recently started to stock some of the most commonly used CO2 Lenses so that replacement lenses can be shipped quickly after an order is placed.

RMI have extensive experience in the high volume processing of IR materials such as Zinc Selenide (ZnSe), Germanium (Ge), Silicon (Si), Copper (Cu) and Molybdenum (Mo) to produce the highest standard in surface quality at affordable prices. We can quote equivalent RMI parts for the most common Plano/Convex and Meniscus ZnSe lenses on the market.

RMI’s thin film coatings are specially designed for maximum environmental durability, the highest damage thresholds at 10.6µm and long lifetimes. Furthermore, RMI specify a standard absorption of <0.11% for their ZnSe lenses, lower than any competitor.
