ECONIC – The new low cost compact CCD spectrometer

We are pleased to announce the new ECONIC compact spectrometer from B&W Tek Inc. It is a low-cost, high performance, non-cooled CCD array compact spectrometer.

The heart of the ECONIC is a response enhanced 2000 element linear Si CCD array deployed within an optimised Czerny-Turner optical layout. There are two standard gratings to choose from, covering a wavelength range of 200-1100nm, with up to 1.5µm spectral resolution. The whole package is rigid and robust with no moving parts.

Light couples to the spectrometer through an optical fibre patch cord with SMA connector. It connects to PC via USB interface, and comes with BWSpec software for system control, data acquisition and analysis.

ECONIC is an ideal solution if you are looking for a low-cost, entry level compact spectrometer. A perfect addition to your teaching and research labs.
