Bit Rate Multipliers

This family of instruments is designed to multiply input bit rates by a factor of 2,4,8 or 16 to appropriately address 20 GHz, 40 GHz, 80 GHz, 160GHz and 320GHz transmission requirements. These BRM’s are the ideal companion to a Calmar 10GHz or 40GHz laser source and Pulse Compressor, providing a state-of-the-art turnkey high speed communications R&D system from a single manufacturer.

An all polarization maintaining component construction ensures the output signal is linearly polarized, without the need for polarization control. Access to the pulse stream is available at each of the cascaded 2x multiplication stages, and all product in this range have >200ps tunable delay range, which is the largest in the market!
