Diffractive Optical Elements
|
We are pleased to annouce we can now supply micro-optical components from Silios Technologies, France. Silios specialise in the design and manufacture of micro-optical components such as diffractive optical elements (DOE), amplitude/phase plates and calibration standards. |
Diffractive optical elements (DOE) are used to shape or homogenise laser beams into defined patterns and induce new optical functions to better meet specific industrial and research requirements. Silios' professional engineering team use state of the art design, simulation and fabrication techniques to ensure the DOE have high efficiency, reliability, reproducibility and cost effectiveness.
Silios' diffractive optical elements are used in many scientific, medical and industrial laser applications that require an input beam to be homogenised, shaped, patterned or split. The DOE can be used to create donut, gaussian or top hat laser beam profiles for welding, cutting, marking, Ti:Sapphire pumping and many other applications.
