LAT elektronik AB started 1988 as a consultant company in vision technology. After a few years the need for LED-lighting became obvious and they started making special lights for customers. Due to the success from those lights they started manufacturing a range of products in 1997.

Ideally suited to the industrial environment. The LED arrays gives a superior intensity, smooth lighting combined with a "plug-and-play" driver technology. With a very flexible design/manufacture process, custom LED lighting solutions can be quickly & cost effectively produced.

Controllers

Control units are always needed for a PAD light heads. The Control units are electronic constant current generators with a plug and play feature that automatically adapt to the connected LED-array. There are two main types of control units:

A low cost Steady State driver unit

Latab low cost steady state driver

Latab have developed a driver unit with only one function; to convert the 24 Volt input to a constant current for small LED lamps up to 300mA. The driver is very small; only 33 x 76 x 40mm (WxLxH). Of course we have kept the Plug and Play feature - just connect a LED lamp and it will light up at maximum intensity.

Attention: the driver does NOT feature the possibility for light intensity adjustment and the “Long Flash” external On/Off control.
