High Accuracy Flatness/Roughness Metrology for the Automotive Shopfloor

The NewView 6000 System is a general purpose, three dimensional, surface structure analyser. It provides graphical images and high-resolution numerical analysis to accurately characterize the surface structure of test parts. The NewView uses scanning white light interferometry to image and measure the microstructure and topography of surfaces in three dimensions. A wide variety of surfaces can be measured with the NewView together with depths of up to 150 micrometers, with a 0.1 nanometer resolution and 0.4 nanometer RMS repeatability.

NewView Delta's rugged enclosure is right at home on the factory floor. It provides a secure yet service accessible housing for the NewView microscope and computer system, a factory-grade keyboard and pointing device and an ergonomically mounted 17 inch flat panel touch-screen display - all in a footprint of less than one square yard. In common with all of the Zygo measurement systems, the NewView Delta can accept dedicated fixtures to accommodate specific components.
