Training Course Overview
Increase Your Throughput,
Increase Your Process Knowledge,
Improve Your Accuracy and Repeatability
You can expand the application of your ZYGO system, and use the system to make similar gains in measurement of additional types of parts. ZYGO metrology systems provide you with a host of options designed to let your system applications grow with your needs. ZYGO training courses provide you with the knowledge and skills to develop your own solutions to metrology problems without ZYGO assistance, reducing the time it takes to solve R&D and production problems, and enabling you to get new products to market faster than your competition. Get the Facts
Each ZYGO training day consists of 8 hours of intense knowledge transfer. Not just nice-to-know facts, but facts that you can and will use to maximize the accuracy, repeatability, and resolution of your measurements. Facts you can use to educate your customers, internal and external, about the quality of your measurements. Facts that will increase your confidence in the quality of the data you obtain from your measurements, and that will increase your customers' confidence in the quality of your products. Learn by Doing
Every ZYGO course involves actual part setup, control setting determination, and system operation by the trainees, with guidance and feedback from your instructor. This provides you with "muscle memory," the ability to execute quickly what you have decided needs to be done, without the intermediate speed-bump of trying to recall basic procedures.

ZYGO training includes typical part setups and setup considerations for a variety of situations like these basic optical testing setup geometries for ZYGO's GPI large-aperture interferometer.
Optimum Instructor-to-Trainee RatioOne of the key strengths of ZYGO training is a low instructor-to-trainee ratio. With small class sizes, the instructor is able to give each trainee more attention, maximizing your hands-on time, specific problem solving, and overall benefit from the training. Training in Depth
Training at ZYGO is based on a simple but powerful principle: If you understand WHY and HOW our system operates, you will be able to adjust the application of the system to many different purposes. We give you step-by-step procedures for many commonly-encountered metrology situations. And we give you more: we give you the an understanding of the principles behind the recommendations, so that you can adjust to situations that deviate from the typical.
Sure, you can, by painful trial and error, and by investing a lot of time, money, and effort, arrive at a combination of settings that "work," that give you "acceptable" results. But IS THAT DATA REAL? DOES IT ACCURATELY REFLECT THE NATURE AND QUALITY OF YOUR PART? And do you really want to go through a lengthy and costly trial-and-error process every time you meet a slightly different metrology problem?
