Non-Contact Vibration Measurement
Polytec manufactures a range of laser vibrometers that have become the accepted standard for non-contact vibration measurement. Whether standard single-point or differential measurements, determination of rotational or in-plane vibrations, visualization of microscopic vibrations or mapping of whole surfaces are of interest, there is a Polytec system that can provide the answer. |

Measuring “Out-of-Plane“ Single-Point Vibration
Single point vibrometers measure the vibrations of an object in the direction of the laser beam. If aligned at a right angle to the object surface, then the term “Out-of-Plane“ vibrometer is also used. |
|
Measuring “Out-of-Plane“ Differential Vibration
Differential vibrometers allow vibration measurement between two points vibrating relative to each other. Specialized fiber optic probes allow the examination of locations that are difficult to access. |
|
Measuring In-Plane Vibration
Measurements of vibrations in the surface plane, i.e. at right angles to the optical axis. |
|
Measuring Rotational Vibrations
For measuring torsional vibrations of continuously rotating surfaces or angular vibrations of fixed surfaces. Output independent of the surface shape. |
|
Measuring 3D Vibration
Three independent laser beams intersectingat the focus point allow you to measure thevibration characteristics in three dimensions. |
|
Mapping Vibration over Surface
Scanning vibrometers and video microscopy systems for automated surface vibration measurement and visualization. Optimum productivity achieved with fast, comprehensive & accurate acquisition and data handling. |
|
Mapping 3D Vibration over Surface
Acquisition of complete 3-dimensional structural dynamics. |
