Diffused Axial
DA - Series
|
Spectrum Illumination Monster Diffused Axial Lights are the brightest on axis lights in the Machine Vision Lighting Market. Monster Diffused Axial Lights leverage our Monster LED's to provide the most light possible for high speed image acquisition. Diffused Axial lights are used to create even lighting on shiny and uneven surfaces. Diffused Axial lights are built using a beam splitter to reflect the diffused light onto the field of view. The reflected light from the area of interest is then able to pass through the beam splitter into the camera lens. |
Because the light is on the same axis as the camera and is diffused, the image from a shiny or uneven surface will not have any hot spots or shadows. Every light is designed in a heavy duty industrial enclosure. Monster Diffused Axial lights can also be used with Monster Dome Lights. By using both lights together you can cover very large fields of view and eliminate the appearance of the camera viewing port (reflecting back) from mirrored surfaces. Monster Diffused Axial Lights are supplied with our DIN rail mount 24 volt DC High Speed LDM (LED Driver Module) Adapter and a 4 meter 5 pin reverse keyed M12 Eurofast quick disconnect cable. The LDM adapter has both PNP and NPN strobe inputs with a 3 microsecond response time and is also available with optional variable potentiometer control or 0-10VDC analog control.
Tripod Modular System
TP1 - Series
|
The Tripod's unique triangular design makes it possible for the end user to configure the lights to meet their specific needs. Each Tripod Module incorporates the latest high output LED technology available including our internal Micro Driver with burst. The Tripod Modules can be used separately as a spot light or they can be used together to create single, double or multiple row linear lights. They can also be used to create large area lights, ring lights or rectangular ring lights. If the end user needs a light in the shape of an "L", "U" or "S", that is no problem for the Tripod. |
Every Tripod Module can be configured as the Master or Slave. Up to 50 modules can be run on a master. The end user can decide if all of the modules need to be strobed together or separately. They can also decide if they would like to control the analogue signal intensity all together or separately. Tripod modules are also set to burst the LED for 500 microseconds at the maximum current rating when initially triggered and then drop down to normal run current. The end user also has the choice to turn the burst circuit off if desired.
Washdown Series
W - Series
|
Spectrum Illumination has the most extensive line of Washdown FDA compliant IP68 rated lights in the Machine Vision Light Industry. Every Washdown Series Light that we build is designed using FDA compliant white Delrin and/or 316 stainless steel for the enclosures. The Washdown Series Lights use only FDA compliant silicone rubber or white nitril for gaskets. Every fastener used to assemble our Washdown Series Lights is 316 stainless steel to meet FDA requirements. The lights are laser etched with the proper part identification at our facility. |
Laser etching is essential because a label or screen printing would facilitate bacteria. All Washdown Lights are then hydro tested to ensure they meet IP68 standards. Washdown Series Lights are available in various configurations that include Linear Lights, Spot Lights, Ring Lights and Back Lights. If you are in need of a FDA compliant IP68 rated light for Machine Vision, Spectrum is the answer.
Lens Filters
|
Midwest Optical specifically designs and manufactures filters for use with monochromatic or white LED lighting, fibre optic illumination, structured diode-generated light patterns and other lighting commonly used in machine vision applications. When matched with the correct lighting, filtering is one of the most important factors that controls the ability of an optical system to produce acceptable results. |
