The OVA™5000 is the fastest, most accurate and economical tool for loss, dispersion and polarization measurements of modern optical components, assemblies and equipment.

It is the ideal tool for single connection, all-parameter optical component characterization of fibre components, couplers, speciality fibers, Fibre Bragg Gratings, arrayed waveguide gratings (AWG’s), Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs), free-space optical filters, tuneable devices, optical amplifiers, dispersion compensators, and other passive optical components.

Based on Luna's patented technique, the OVA™ allows direct measurement of an optical device's linear transfer function to provide complete passive component characterization in a single scan of a tuneable laser.
