Polytec Spectrometer Systems (PSS) are modular in concept and designed to offer flexibility as well as measurement precision. Standardised sensor heads, spectrometers and process software packages provide a powerful tool for qualitative and quantitative online analysis – three parts of the jigsaw, linking together to give you a complete measurement solution.

Distance Reflection Sensor Head PSS-H-A03
Combined illumination and sensor unit for distances varying from 150 to 600 mm. Ruggedised and suitable for conveyor belts, web applications etc.

Contact Reflection Sensor Head PSS-H-B01
Combined illumination and sensor unit for for distances varying from 0 -50 mm. Ruggedised and suitable for tubes, chutes, funnels, etc.

Immersible Reflection Probe PSS-H-CR1
For measurements in liquids and other fluid samples Polytec's PSS-H-CR1 immersible reflection probe is the right choice. These probes are available in versions compliant to food laws or ATEX.

Immersible Transmission Probes PSS-H-CT1
A variety of different fibre coupled standard transmission or ATR immersible probes can be offered.

Fibre Sensor Heads
A series of fibre sensor heads with adjustable spot size and working distance. They are best suited for single pass transmission measurements of gases, or passive detection of thermal radiation such as hot steel or glass.

Spectrometers
Polytec PSS Near Infra-red (NIR) spectrometers offer an optimised solution for process analytics.
Diode array technology combined with superior transmission grating design allows PSS spectrometers to provide fast and reliable data acquisition. Flexible integration in various measurement scenarios is enabled by the use of fibre coupled sensors.
Polytec’s design and manufacturing approach ensures each spectrometer is compatible with the next. This allows chemometric model calibrations to be easily transferred between systems.
