This functionality is available from the M6A onwards and allows plug and play extended functionality:

  • Scalability – run image analysis tasks across multiple analyser units to increase processing power.
  • Redundancy – minimise downtime by adding auxiliary analyser or camera heads. Built in fault management allows automatic changeover of hardware.
  • IEEE 1588 time sync - automatic synchronisation of cameras and hardware devices to within 1 microsecond.
  • Full duplex communication – strobe, image acquisition and management of multiple images.
  • Sensor Fox logic state analyser and Generator – identify faults and improve data throughput.

A free graphical software utility for configuring vision sensors, smart cameras and analyser hardware. Only required for initial set-up of stand alone device and has many added benefits:

Ranger C

The Ranger C camera measures 3D features at unmatched speeds producing a complete data set of the object measured. Providing a 3rd dimension adds height and shape measurement data, which can be critical when correctly classifying an object.

  • High Performance and flexibility are the keywords for the Ranger. It is capable of acquiring 20,000 3D profiles per second. Each profile contains up to 1536 high quality 3D co-ordinates; that is more than 30 million points per second!
  • A small and robust camera unit, which is the solution to any 3D inspection task. It incorporates a powerful C/C++ interface for optimal solutions.
  • The camera handles the image processing and the ready-to-use 3D coordinates are sent directly to a standard PC via Cameralink. This eliminates the need for expensive post processors or high-speed frame grabbers.

IVP Ruler

  • IVP Ruler is the solution for demanding 3D applications in any production line. It is designed to measure anything from logs in a sawmill to cars in the automotive Industry. IVP Ruler is intended for tough environment with a shield level of IP65.
  • IVP Ruler contains a laser and Image sensor assembled in fixed positions. It is calibrated before delivery to give you high quality 3D data. Can acquire 2000 profiles per second with a profile width of 512 measuring points.
