The Greenlee 915FS fusion splicer uses an active cladding alignment technology in which alignment of the fibre is performed in three axis; X, Y and Z. This allows the individual to complete fusion splices with low splice losses as with core alignment splicers and far surpassing the performance of V-Groove splicers.

The Greenlee 915FS Optical Fibre Fusion Splicer is intended to fuse fibres, resulting in low splice loss and long-term stable splices. Splice loss depends on certain conditions such as fibre preparation, splicing parameters, and fibre condition.

The 915FS is perfectly suited for all FFT(x) and P2P applications.
