As Rigol's second iteration RF signal source, the DSG3000B series offer standard AM/FM/ØM analogue modulation, as well as options for I/Q modulation and I/Q baseband output. The instrument is available with maximum frequencies of either 6.5 GHz or 13.6 GHz. Featuring a high signal purity with phase noise measuring <-116dBc/Hz@20kHz (typical) and a wide output range of -110dBm to +20dBm, the 14773RF signal generator has standard pulse modulation with an on/off ratio of up to 80dB, with optional pulse train generator available. The DSG3000B series also has an amplitude accuracy of <0.5dB (typical).
Outstanding High Power Signal Generation
The maximum output amplitude is up to +20dBm, and can be set to +27dBm to meet the non-linear index test such as an amplifier.
Excellent Phase Noise
Typically the value of phase noise <-116dBc/Hz@20kHz, comparable to similar products; with the optional high-stability clock reference, minimal phase noise can be obtained.
Pulse Modulation Support; On/Off ratio up to 70dB
User-defined pulse train generator.
Supports Internal And External IQ modulation
The user can choose between two internal and external IQ modulation methods, the internal I+Q modulation bandwidth is up to 60MHz, EVM<0.7%, EVM<2% (typical value), and Ultra IQ Station is provided for convenient vector signal waveform generation.
Multiple Modulation Methods
Standard amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, equal modulation analog modulation and pulse modulation and pulse generator, optional user-defined pulse sequence, and I / Q modulation and IQ baseband generator can generate QAM, ASK, PSK, FSK, MSK, Various commonly used modulation signals such as MSK; all modulations support internal and external modulation sources.
