Dome lights allow a highly shadow free lighting and avoid reflections from polished objects whilst also able to highlight detail (or contamination) on curved, rough and bumpy surfaces. For highly reflective surfaces they perform better than standard ring lights. The best evenness of light will be achieved as close as possible to the object. These lights provide an economical source of diffused light and are available in a wide range of sizes (inner diameter 44–348 mm). The dome lights are housed in a black aluminium ring. These dome lights are available in a wide range of sizes. As an option the CD hole (camera hole) can be covered by an adapter in order to reduce the hole size. These lights are available in red, white, blue, green, IR and UV. Special RGB lights are built with high-power three-chips LED; red, green, and blue.
Enabling the use of each colour separately or in combination. From these units white lights can be achieved by setting each channel to the same intensity level. The available dimensions and working distances of the RGB option remains the same as the standard ring lights. For all RGB lights 4 channel controllers are required.
