The FT8330 Series is a high-precision, multi-channel programmable battery cell simulator, designed for applications requiring accurate and stable power output. It supports up to 36 independent, electrically isolated channels in a compact 19-inch rack chassis, making it ideal for simulating individual battery cells or configuring them in series/parallel for pack-level emulation. Each channel provides ultra-low ripple, high accuracy (0.01% + 0.01% F.S.), and high-resolution control down to microamp and sub-millivolt levels, ensuring precise emulation of real battery behaviour.
The FT8330 operates in single-quadrant mode (source only), making it well-suited for battery management system (BMS) testing, cell balancing development, and low-current standby testing. With built-in Ethernet and RS485 communication, as well as SCPI and Modbus protocol support, it integrates seamlessly into automated R&D and production test environments. The series offers a range of voltage and current configurations across “A” and “R” models to match various application needs.
