Established in 1980, GGB Industries, the originator of the Picoprobe® line of microwave and oscilloscope probes, have served the on-wafer probing needs of the worldwide semiconductor industry. With 40 years experience in design and manufacture they established their reputation with a line of high impedance troubleshooting probes for diagnostic studies of the internal workings of complex logic and memory chips.
In 1988, GGB Industries, Inc., revolutionised on-wafer microwave probing with a new patented coaxial microwave probe having 50 ohm coplanar flexible tips. The introduction of a high performance W-band millimetre wave probe in 1992 established GGB Industries, Inc., as the world leader in microwave probes. They pride themselves with their craftsmanship, precision, customer service, and problem solving.

GGB Picoprobe Calibration Substrate CS-5, CS-8, CS-9, CS-10, CS-11, CS-14, CS-15, CS-17, CS-18
The GGB Industries, Inc., line of CALIBRATION SUBSTRATES allows the user to calibrate any GGB Industries, Inc., microwave Picoprobe® at the probe tip. The underlying principal of the calibration of a measurement system is to provide accurate known standards to which the measurement system can be connected. Each calibration substrate contains highly precise elements for calibrating out the unavoidable errors and losses in a microwave network analyser, its associated cabling, and the microwave probe to ensure accurate on-wafer testing.
- Supports Precise SOLT, LRL/TRL, and LRM/TRM calibrations
- Includes CalKit software for easy loading to Network Analyser
- Wide pitch range from 30 to 2,540 microns
- Suitable for all Picoprobes® from DC to 220 GHz
- Available for GS, SG, GSG Footprints
- Convenient alignment structures
- Individually tested and trimmed to exacting standards
