TMC Lever Arm Levelling Pad

If you have a TMC CleanBench Workstation or CleanTop Optical Table, you may have noticed black pads on the lever arms that regulate the air valves and are used to adjust table float height.

The pads on older tables were made using compressible foam. Unfortunately this degrades over time, compresses and loses resilience.

If your levelling pads look like the one on the left of the image below, you should replace them with the new design shown on the right; made from a harder and more resilient rubber.
