The Zygo GPI™ CAN upgrade upgrades a GPI™ XP or XP/HR interferometer from analogue electronics to CAN digital electronics. The upgrade includes a new system controller (computer), the latest version of MetroPro® software, and your instrument retrofitted with new electronics and a new digital camera.
To see the difference, compare the image with two plots of a high-slope part, measured with a GPI™.
Systems with CAN electronics can have their system controller upgraded to the latest 64 bit system running MetroPro 9.x.x. Older GPI XP type systems must have a CAN upgrade to be upgraded.
