ARGOS matrix 200 – The best solution for all optics and automated serial inspection
Using the XY-Scan module, the ARGOS matrix 200 enables the automated surface inspection of dozens or, depending on the size, hundreds of elements without user intervention. The individual components are placed on “part specific” trays with numbered cavities and are inspected automatically one after the other. During the measurement process time, for example a sample carrier containing 30 parts could take approximately 60 minutes, no operator intervention is required! From this, the system automatically generates a detailed test report for each optical component. A summary report also gives a review of the most important results and a pass/fail decision for each individual element.
Defects down to 2 µm can be detected and thus specifications down to 5/1×0.016 can be inspected. Defects of the three next smaller steps (i.e., 0.01, 0.0063, 0.004) are considered as required by the ISO 10110-7 specification. By combining advanced illumination techniques, even hardly visible and small defects (down to 1 µm) such as fine scratches or wipes are reliably detected. Furthermore, to detect holes and defects in chrome masks or mirrors, the system can be equipped with a transmitted light module.
The built-in automatic Multi-View Stitching enables ARGOS matrix 200 to fully test large pieces up to 205×205 mm edge to edge with full nominal resolution. The system generates a test report of the entire surface from an array of standard field of view area measurements.
Several test areas with different requirements can be defined within the surface to be tested.
If you need to measure even larger optics, with ARGOS matrix 300 or 400, test pieces of up to 300x300mm or 400×400 mm can be tested with full nominal resolution. Also, with these devices the automated testing of any number of parts on a carrier with a maximum test area of 400×400 mm in the case of the ARGOS Matrix 400 is possible.
DIOPTIC can adapt the modular system individually to your needs. For example, the serial inspection of a few different sized optics can be achieved. They can optimize the test duration by precisely adapting the resolution of the system to your requirements.
