Tempo FSP200-EU Optical Fusion Splicer
- Core Alignment - Low splice loss Technology for the most complex fibre geometries.
- Compact - Small and lightweight for the most demanding jobs.
- IP52 Ingress Protection Rating - Resistant to dust and water.
- Versatile - Uses the proprietary loose tube adapters for splicing loose tube fibres to splice on connectors.
- Adaptable - Splices 200 micron “Micro” fibres.
The FSP200 optical fusion splicer uses core alignment technology, which allows the technician to reliably fuse fibre optic cables with low splice losses in as little time as seven seconds. The intuitive user interface keeps the learning curve short and enables the technician to be productive in a very short time. FTTx, P2P installations, and all standard fibres are supported with pre-qualified splicing profiles that can be modified and subsequently stored for more demanding fibre applications.
The FSP200 uses the Tempo Communications Splice on Connector, which provides a low loss, low return loss, and reliable connection that surpasses the failure prone mechanical connector. Splice on connectors also allow for easier fibre routing, which reduces fibre preparation since the splice on connector is pre-cleaved and eliminates the need for a splice tray.
